Hello, and welcome to our site! We are so glad you’re here!

Just over a year ago, I was making the big move from Tallahassee, FL to Atlanta. I’d just graduated from Florida State University [Go Noles!] with my BA in International Affairs and deeply desired to make an impact. Unfortunately, the check-in desk I worked behind didn’t provide me with the window of opportunity I’d hoped for. So I quit, and am so glad I did.

I began to revisit my heart’s deepest dreams and desires. I’d sit on our apartment’s couch, and talk with my [kind, dapper, architect] husband, Mike, about the vision we shared for our marriage and the direction we wanted our lives to go. Somewhere in the shuffle, of wanting to be a Mom, minister, and artist, we landed on photography.

It hasn’t been the easiest journey, but it’s been a beautiful adventure. We’ve begun our business, MAB Photographers,LLC and our hope is that one day our photography will support world missions and be used as a marketing tool to build sustainable housing where there isn’t any.

Simply put, we don’t plan on just capturing the world; we’re going to change it.

Mike -

I’m Mike, the “M” in MAB Photographers. I’m currently a grad student in Architecture at Georgia Tech [Go Jackets!] and a graduate of Florida International University in Miami, FL. I love God, I love my wife and I love my family. My favorite food is bread [plain, ordinary, untoasted bread], my favorite drink is coffee and my favorite sport is baseball. I can quote line for line all of the Star Wars movies, I can quote every line from every episode of “The Office”, and I’ve only seen the finale episode of “Lost” and I have no idea what its about.

I’m an artist at heart, and photography has always been an intrest of mine. I used to take pictures with my kiddie polaroid as a child, developed my own time lapse photos in elementary school, and then transitioned into architectural photography in college. “People photography,” as I call it, is fun and offers a different experience every time. I love doing this with my wife, and we are so thankful to be able to do this!

Well hey,

My Name is Albert Seth Levings. I am 24 years old and up until 19 days ago I had lived in Florida my entire life. I recently completed my MBA from a small private college in Jacksonville Florida and truthfully, I just needed a change. So I decided to move up to Boston and start my postgraduate life. Within a short time of being in Boston I was given the opportunity to do a marketing internship with MAB Photographers. It wasn’t something that demanded a lot of debate on my part, so I took the opportunity. I think it’s important to never underestimate the power of “ yeah, I’d like that” and when I got chance the chance to work for MAB, build relationships with people and try to capture God’s created beauty, my heart said “ yeah I’d like that.”

I’ve always felt that photography is one of those things that just takes you away for a second; you are able to catch beauty for the world to remember. Maybe it gives you hope, maybe it causes remorse, but regardless of what the effect, one cant deny that there’s something inside that appreciates the natural beauty God created and our spirit lines up with it.

I am grateful for this opportunity and look forward to working with and being a part of the MAB Photographers family.
