One thing we’re always happy to be is practical. We realize that we aren’t full-time photographers by chance [although there are a lot of crazy events that caused us to start], and that becoming a better photographer doesn’t boil down to just taking lots of pictures and getting lucky. It takes work, courage, and a few other bits of razzle dazzle that we dare not spoil in this intro.
Practical Tips is our way of sharing with you those bits and pieces of becoming a better point-and-shoot family trip picture-maker, starting to take photography as a serious hobby, or daring enough to start your own business too. They’re not outlandish, jargon-only ideas, and are not limited to gear knowledge, lighting, placement, marketing, etc. Simply stated, they’re all ideas we feel the need to share neatly tucked under the umbrella of practical.
